Tieto MoU:

Tieto signed an MoU with the Department of Petroleum Engineering, MIT-WPU, leading to student internships, projects, training and mutual collaborative work on multiple levels!
Projects involving flow assurance, wellbore modeling, transport of hydrocarbons and EOR - students are looking forward to working with Tieto, and contributing to the O&G industry. 



Techniche MoU:

Prof. Samarth Patwardhan and Techniche Engineering Private Limited (TEPL), a HSE company based out of Pune, are currently working in collaboration on the project of setting up a state-of-the-art Nano-Dust explosion facility within the MIT campus, thereby sensitizing people, and society as a whole, about the hazard of Nano-Dust explosion. This facility would be one of its kind, considering the fact that no such a facility exists in the entire Central Asian Region.

The approved amount of research grant is approximately INR 91,50,000/- (INR 91.5 Lac), out of which half is going to be funded by Techniche. This project is proudly associated with the "Make in India" campaign.

This proposal is under the IRRD (Industry Relevant R&D) scheme of DST, Govt. of India. This is a great moment of pride for our institute and Techniche.

This project and facility would serve as an excellent opening for our students, as it will open up numerous opportunities for them in the HSE domain, which cuts across industries
